The Kaduna State government has been praised by professional bodies, civil society organizations, development partners and the legislature government for instituting a strong accounting system upon taking office.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) revealed that Kaduna State always appears first in all liability indexes because its financial records are always up to date and are kept in an orderly and transparent manner.

ICAN National President Ms. Comfort Olu Eyitayo, who said this during the unveiling and presentation of the new financial function of the Kaduna State Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, praised Governor Nasir El Rufai’s vision. .

The president of ICAN, represented by Malam Haruna Yahaya, the institute’s 2nd deputy vice president, further said that other states have complained about his favorable rating for Kaduna state, advising that “They should also do what Kaduna is doing.” ‘

In his goodwill message, the Director of Operations of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Dr Musa Ahmed Muhammad, said that Kaduna State has an effective strategy, risk management and management. financial operations.

Likewise, Dr Titilayo Fowokan, Board Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), said the institute adopted Governor El Rufai as one of their own, having been the keynote speaker at its assembly. Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020 held in Lagos and host the event in 2021.
